GRE – Graduate Record Examinations is a government-sanctioned standardized computer-based test that is a basic requirement of most Graduate School in the United States. According to ETS, it develops the GRE to assess verbal, quantitative and analytical competencies of candidates.

Analytical Writing: This test measuresyourability to think critically and write analytically. It concentrates on the candidate’s ability to present complex ideas in an articulate and effective manner.
Verbal Reasoning:within30 minutes, candidates are to answer 20 questions which Measure their ability to accurately analyze and test written material and then synthesize information got from it, analyze sentence components and recognize word and concept relationships.
Quantitative Reasoning: This section will assess mathematical knowledge and reasoning skills. The quantitative test is measured on a scale of 130–170.In this section, you can use the calculator. So it’s quite easy to do calculations and no mental arithmetic need to be done.
